As higher learning institutions move toward
more corporate-based models of teaching,
the immense structural and cultural changes
are transforming women’s academic lives and,
by extension, their families. This panel will
feature authors from the forthcoming book,
Mothers in Academia (Columbia University
Press, May 2013) and their experiences with
the conditions of working motherhood and
academic life.
