GRADUATE STUDENT FAMILY RESEARCH FALL TRAVEL AWARD

The Center for Research on Families is pleased to announce the Annual Competition for the GRADUATE STUDENT FAMILY  RESEARCH FALL TRAVEL AWARD  Application Deadline: Monday, October 18, 2013  Notification: November 8, 2013     For More Information: www.umass.edu/family/travelaward      Family research is broadly defined and encompasses all disciplines.   Please contact wendy@sbs.umass.edu with questions. One award of $300 will be given to a graduate student who has written an outstanding paper on issues of family research and will be presenting the paper at a national research conference before January 17, 2014. The paper must already have been accepted for presentation at the conference and the award money will be used exclusively for travel expenses associated with the conference. Fall conference applications are due October 18, 2013. We will notify the recipients on November 8, 2013.  There will also be one spring conference travel award, so look for the application in January. Spring conference applications will be due February 28, 2014.
