Dear Educator, Organizer/Activist, Student, Youth, Parent, or Community Member,

Registration is now open for the Fifth Annual Boston-area Educators for Social JusticeConference on May 30th! The Conference is produced by Teacher Activist Group (TAG) Boston and will be held at the Curley School in Jamaica Plain. Over the next few weeks, we will be updating our website with details about the conference schedule and keynote speakers, but we promise you that we’ve got some fantastic workshops and panels planned.
Conference Aims:
●      Facilitate dialogue, share resources and build strategy among those interested in education for liberation
●      Develop youth leadership and support youth voice in education
●      Build a movement for quality education that combines the visions of youth, communities, families and teachers

CALL FOR WORKSHOP PROPOSALS!
Currently we are seeking workshop proposals from individuals or groups interested in leading a workshop at the conference.  We invite everyone -- students, teachers and community organizers/activists -- to apply. Student-led workshops are strongly encouraged! Check out our website for more information on workshop proposals

This year we are excited to be creating a new affinity-groups space for people to connect and check in with folks who are doing similar work and considering similar questions. This builds on our open sessions from previous years. More to come on our website in upcoming weeks.
