The School of Education, Loyola University Chicago, announces a non-tenure track, assistant professor position with primary teaching and service responsibilities in the area of Administration and Supervision. The Administration and Supervision program is engaged in innovative, field-based experiences to prepare principal and teacher leaders for leadership in Illinois public and Catholic schools. Loyola's NCATE accredited programs prepare school leaders in the Chicago metropolitan area, one of the nation's liveliest educational scenes.

The selected individual will teach graduate-level courses in administration and supervision of P-12 schools at our Loyola Water Tower campus and at our Cuneo campus in Vernon Hills. The individual selected for this position will demonstrate commitment to serving a diverse student body and profession. Program courses to be taught include educational leadership in mission driven schools, educational law, finance, etc. Finally, the individual may be involved in program redesign for superintendent endorsement.
Required qualifications include: an appropriate earned doctoral degree in P-12 Educational Leadership and Policy Studies or a related field, at least five years of school leadership experience with documented evidence of leading schools for improved student outcomes, experience leading building and district-level administrative positions, and classroom teaching experience. 

The desired individual will hold a state of Illinois principal's license as well as the state superintendent endorsement. Certification in Illinois' Growth Learning Training teacher and principal evaluation training preferred.
