Brief Description of Duties/Responsibilities:
The successful candidate will be expected to teach graduate courses in leadership, organizational change, policy studies, and other courses offered within the department in both the 6th year professional diploma and doctoral programs.  Candidates will be required to participate in activities that advance the department’s mission and engage in productive research and creative activity.  The nominal teaching load is 12 credits per semester.

Required Qualifications:
Applicants must have: 1) an earned doctorate from an accredited institution; 2) demonstrated experience as an educational leader; 3) evidence of ability to teach university level courses; 4) demonstrated ability to work with diverse student populations; and 5) demonstrated ability to engage in meaningful scholarship/creative activity leading to presentations at professional meetings and publications in peer-reviewed journals.

Preferred Qualifications:
Successful applicants might have one or more of the following: 1) P-12 teaching/leadership experience, 2) knowledge and skills in contemporary school reform, 3) teaching experience at the graduate level, 4) experience advising doctoral students and/or serving on doctoral dissertation committees, and 5) demonstrated use of technology to enhance student learning.
